The School of Nursing was founded in 1898 and graduated five women in 1901. Since that time, the school has graduated over 2,000 men and women.
Our hospital-based diploma program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
We offer two program options, a 16-month (over the course of two calendar years) day option and a 22-month evening-weekend option.
With an average annual cost of $14,800, excluding required fees, Roxborough Memorial Hospital School of Nursing provides the opportunity for a quality nursing education at a reasonable cost. In addition, through a partnership with Penn State University (Abington, Pa) and Grand Canyon University (Phoenix, Arizona) eligible students can obtain the BS in Nursing in less than one year after passing the National Council of Licensing Examination (NCLEX-RN) for Registered Nurses.
